Account Deletion & Data Retention

You can request account deletion at any time through our automated systems:

• In the app: Open the Mullanet app, go to Settings, scroll to the Danger Zone, and tap Delete Account.
• On the web: If you uninstalled the app, you do not need to reinstall it. Sign in at our account deletion portal, verify your identity (password or email code), and confirm deletion.

Deleting your Mullanet account does not cancel Google Play or App Store subscriptions. Cancel those in your device subscription settings if needed.

When you request deletion, your account is deactivated immediately and VPN credentials are revoked. To protect against accidental deletion, we keep your account in a deactivated state for 14 days. During this period you can sign in and restore your account to cancel the deletion request.

After the 14-day grace period, your personal information is permanently deleted or anonymized, including: email address, password hash, Google Sign-In and Telegram links, profile data, active sessions, and VPN credentials tied to your account.

We retain certain records only where required by law or for legitimate safety reasons:

• Financial records: Invoice and transaction data may be kept for 7–10 years to comply with tax and accounting laws. After anonymization, these records are no longer linked to your identity.
• Fraud prevention: An irreversible cryptographic hash of your deleted email may be kept to prevent promotional abuse. It cannot be reversed to recover your email address.
